Origin
With the same respect and love for the ingredients of the land.
At Yáakún, the story of Yucatán is told through its food: the aroma of spices, the smoky touch of recados and the tenderness of the stews that have been with us for generations.
Every dish is a journey into tradition: poc chuc, cochinita, oven-roasted pork, Valladolid sausage and the classic antojitos, with handmade tortillas.

It’s easily the best food on the island.
The cocktails were some of the best we’ve had throughout Mexico. The food and menu is on another level compared to most menus on the island, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The dishes are traditional but also imaginative. We are considering returning a second night so we can try more of the menu.
Delicious food and atmosphere.
The appetizers were all amazing. The tacos and the corn pockets were my favorite! We had the lechon and bistek for mains which came with plenty of tortillas! The flan was delicious.
